The energy and excitement around the School grows as we begin the 2014-15 academic year.

Our first ecumenical Morning Prayer gathering will be Tuesday, September 30; Director of Worship, Dr. Mark Taylor, will offer a short “back to school” meditation riffing off the gospel reading for the day, Luke 5:17-26. This Fall Quarter, Morning Prayer will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 8:30-8:50am in the Chapel of St. Ignatius when school is in session (so, in observance of Seattle University’s Mass of the Holy Spirit, we will not gather for Morning Prayer on Thursday, October 2).

Over the next two weeks, you will notice improvements to this blog: a new look; a live link to the day’s scripture readings; as well as more information about the classes and people of the School for whom we pray regularly.

Linking Liturgy and Learning sessions, including the weekly Lectionary Scripture Study group, will be held over the lunch hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Fall Quarter (Hunthausen 150). And three Afternoon Worship services are scheduled this term: October 15, November 5, and November 19 in the Ecumenical Chapel at Campion Hall from 4:45 to 5:30pm.

Welcome back!
